Join the BBC TV Social Campaigns team as our new Social Media Coordinator, helping deliver standout campaigns across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Your responsibilities and impact- Lead and support creative social media campaigns across BBC TV titles, working with internal and external teams.
- Generate and develop creative ideas and briefs for social content aligned with divisional strategy.
- Produce engaging digital assets (video, images, thumbnails) optimised for platform best practice.
- Write cross-platform copy and alt text that meets editorial and compliance standards.
- Monitor audience engagement and trends to inform content decisions and campaign strategy.
- Collaborate with influencers, talent, and partners to amplify campaign reach.
- Use data and insight tools to evaluate campaign performance and share findings with stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Experience working on social media accounts and/or campaigns.
- Strong video/image editing skills with attention to detail and editorial judgment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good editorial judgement and a general understanding of compliance for social media content
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and audience engagement tools.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Ability to critically evaluate ideas and make improvements.
- Experience working with in-house and third-party creative teams.
- Knowledge of the broadcasting industry and interest in its output.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
