Social Care Worker Part-Time

Job Description

On behalf of our client in public health, we are seeking a Social Care Worker to join their supervision team. The role is specifically family focused, with the welfare of the service user paramount.

This is a part-time position, day shifts at weekends, 19.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in supervised access visits and prepare reports for client team
• Monitor and record client interactions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with other social care professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in social care or a related field
• CORU registration or proof of application
• Previous experience in a social care setting is essential
• Experience in day service or similar social care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
• Strong reporting, note taking and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in social care
