Social Care Worker Dun Laoghaire ID Services

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Social Care Workers to join our respite team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred support to individuals in a respite setting.
• Facilitate social and community activities, ensuring each person's preferences and needs are met.
• Safely drive the service vehicle to and from community outings, appointments, and activities.
• Implement and uphold Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.
• Maintain accurate records, daily notes, and reports.
• To carry out all cleaning duties as directed.

Essential Requirements:

• Social Care Qualification or CORU registration.
• Full manual driving licence and willingness to drive the service vehicle (Manual Car).
• Experience supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Hours:

• Flexible to work regular rostered shifts (days, nights, weekends, etc.) alongside permanent staff.
