Cpl Healthcare is proud to partner with our client in the recruitment of Social Care Workers to join a dedicated childrens residential service in County Tipperary, Offaly and Laois.

This is a unique opportunity to work with younger children at a pivotal stage in their development, offering stability, care, and support that can shape their future.

As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality, child-centred care within a residential setting
• Implementing individual care plans to support emotional, social, and educational development
• Promoting a safe and supportive environment in line with HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care
• Supporting children in developing life skills, confidence, and resilience
• Engaging in reflective practice, training, and continuous professional development

• A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
• A genuine commitment to supporting children under 12 in care
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, child protection, and safeguarding practices
• The ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and experiences

• €39,936 (0-2 years' experience)
• €42,432 (2+ years' experience)
