Social Care Worker - Full Time
Location: County Limerick (Rural Residential Setting)
Salary from €37,468 per year
We're currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a full time Social Care Worker to join their residential service in County Limerick. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team working in a person centred environment with an individual who has additional needs, including behaviours that challenge.
Because the service is based in a rural location, having your own transport would be beneficial.
What we're looking for:- A Level 7 qualification in Health & Social Care (or similar) - essential
- At least 2 years' experience supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge
- CORU registration desirable
- Flexibility to work day, night and sleepover shifts
- Supporting a resident in a respectful, person centred way
- Encouraging independence and daily living skills
- Following care plans and working with a wider team
- Helping to create a safe, positive and structured environment
