Social Care Personal Assistant (Evening/Weekends to be discussed with the family)

Driver required to transport and supervise a 9 year old boy during outdoor activities.

Evening and weekend hours to be discussed with the family.

Rate of Pay

£13.50 per hour.

Essential

• Drive to and from outdoor activities such as swimming, rock climbing, parkour, skating, surfing, mountain boarding, biking and scooter rides.
• Provide constant supervision to ensure safety while outdoors.
• Have first aid training and knowledge of safe restraint.
• Be energetic, adventurous and have a good sense of humour.
• Be dependable, arrive on time and be adaptable/flexible to changing plans.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Have business insurance on the car used for client transport.

Desirable

• Non smoker.
• Enjoys exercise and outdoor activities.
• Calm, confident, mature, patient, friendly and easy going.
• Can cook meals if needed.
• Able to set clear boundaries and enforce them consistently.

Additional Support

Support with going out in the community.

Probation & DBS

A six month probationary period will apply. A DBS check is required prior to commencement; eligible applicants will have DBS costs met by Swansea Council.
