CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce we have partnered up with a client who provides community-based emergency accommodation and housing support for refugees . They are looking for a Centre Manager role based in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. This is a community management post (not residential) within an established service supporting refugee families as they live independently. The service includes 18 residential homes occupied by families, along with an office/hub building within the estate where you would be based.
You would be working alongside four other professionals and be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and integration of residents. The role would suit someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
The role is offering €25 per hour, increasing to €30 per hour after a 6-month probation period, along with a pension contribution and health insurance. Weekend work is shared across the team, with office hours of 10am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and these hours are paid at double time.
There is also flexibility around working arrangements - for example, the weekly hours could be worked across four days instead of five.
The Role:- Ensure high-quality, person-centred support aligned with organisational values is delivered by your staff team
- Manage the day to day running of the service
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to quality, safety, and risk management processes
- Promote positive relationships with local communities and services
- Complete staff supervisions.
- Ensure compliance with the corporate quality/risk management programmes to ensure the continual development of a high-quality evidence-based service
- Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent - care related)
- Full clean driving licence
- 3 Years' Experience within a supervisory/ managerial role in Social Care
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Experience working cross-culturally (refugees/protection applicants desirable)
- Compassionate, professional, and proactive approach
