SOC Analyst (Security Operations Center Analyst) - Dutch Speaker

Job Title: SOC Analyst ( Security Operations Center Analyst)

Location: Weert (Hybrid: 50% remote, 50% onsite)

Contract Length: 6 months

Employment Type: Payroll only (no ZZP/freelancers)

Office Day: Every Tuesday onsite

Travel: Occasional visits to Den Bosch (and potentially Zwolle)

Role Overview

As a SOC Analyst, you'll join a tier-less Security Operations Center, focusing on triage, incident response, and threat hunting. You'll play a key role in analysing and resolving security incidents using SIEM tools and contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring and response processes. Participation in on-call rotations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Triage and analyze security incidents
• Lead containment, mitigation, and recovery efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams on response actions
• Maintain and improve response procedures and documentation
• Use threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities
• Support and mentor Junior Analysts
• Drive continuous improvements in people, process, and technology

Requirements

• HBO-level education in IT or related field
• 1+ year experience in a SOC environment
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, SIEM tools, and incident response
• Experience with Microsoft security tools and cloud tech is a plus
