Job Description

Mission:

At Schneider Electric, we're accelerating the digital transformation of buildings. We're looking for a BMS Sales Distribution Engineer to grow our Digital Buildings portfolio, supporting customers with BMS, energy monitoring and software-led solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability and performance.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, focused on Schneider Electric Digital Buildings solutions, including Building Management Systems (BMS), energy monitoring and analytics software.

You will proactively engage with customers across all levels of the organisation to identify opportunities, articulate value, and promote Schneider Electric's digital building and energy software service offerings, supporting the commercial objectives of the local Schneider Electric Services organisation.

Your focus will be on:

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Energy monitoring, analytics and software solutions
  • Digital lifecycle services and optimisation
Responsibilities:
  • Grow and manage a portfolio of targeted accounts within Digital Buildings
  • Identify customer pain points, position BMS & energy software solutions to address them
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with commercial targets
  • Drive opportunities from installed base through upgrades, digital services & lifecycle offers
  • Collaborate closely with Buildings technical, services and digital teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts and opportunity tracking
  • Support tenders and complex solution sales engagements
Skills and Experience:
  • Evidenced experience in technical BMS, Digital Building Platforms, Enery Monitoring or software-based solutions. sales or account management
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • Account management, prospecting and relationship-building skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical power distribution
  • Exposure to LV/MV systems, power monitoring or power quality
  • Experience engaging with facilities, energy, sustainability or operations teams
