Small Group Maths Instructor - SEN School

Location: Gateshead

Position: Full-Time

Protocol Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Small Group Maths Instructor to work in a specialist SEN school in Gateshead.

You will be working with very small classes of 3-4 pupils, helping them build confidence and understanding in maths through engaging, supportive teaching.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver numeracy-focused learning sessions

  • Support pupils who need extra help understanding maths concepts

  • Cover maths lessons when required

  • Provide individualised support in small groups

  • Work closely with teachers and SEN support staff

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A good understanding of maths

  • Experience as a maths tutor or learning support assistant

  • An interest in supporting pupils with additional needs

  • The ability to engage and motivate learners

This is an exciting opportunity to gain classroom experience while making a genuine difference to pupils' confidence and progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
