Protocol Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Small Group Maths Instructor to work in a specialist SEN school in Gateshead.
You will be working with very small classes of 3-4 pupils, helping them build confidence and understanding in maths through engaging, supportive teaching.
In this role you will:
Deliver numeracy-focused learning sessions
Support pupils who need extra help understanding maths concepts
Cover maths lessons when required
Provide individualised support in small groups
Work closely with teachers and SEN support staff
Ideal candidates will have:
A good understanding of maths
Experience as a maths tutor or learning support assistant
An interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
The ability to engage and motivate learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
