Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-established first opinion practice in Putney on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit clinical environment, delivering high-quality care while helping to shape and grow the practice alongside a supportive team.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian who is confident working sole charge and enjoys building strong client relationships. With access to additional clinical support and referral services nearby, you will be able to manage cases effectively while continuing to develop your clinical skills in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out consultations and developing evidence based treatment plans
  • Performing routine surgical procedures within your level of competence
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and patient histories
  • Managing cases independently during sole charge shifts
  • Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the UK
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred
  • Confidence in both consultations and routine surgery
  • Ability to work independently and manage sole charge responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
