Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistants Needed - SLD School - Shirley

Pay: 95-115 per day

Team Educate is recruiting Team Teach trained Teaching Assistants to support pupils within an SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) setting in Shirley.

The Role

• Supporting children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Using Team Teach strategies to support positive behaviour and safe interventions
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide a nurturing learning environment

Requirements

• Valid Team Teach training
• Experience working within SEN/SLD settings
• Calm, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs
