Job Opportunity: Roll on Roll off Skip and Skip & Hook Drivers (Dangan Group recruits for our client)

Dangan Group is currently recruiting Roll on Roll off Skip and Skip & Hook Drivers on behalf of our client, a prominent waste management company. Our client operates with a strong focus on people, employing a dedicated team of over 200 individuals at their Crag Avenue facility. They are committed to recycling and continuously innovate and educate to minimize waste going to landfills, working towards a greener and cleaner world.

We are seeking qualified C licence drivers with excellent driving skills and a customer service-oriented mindset to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-use inspections of the vehicle and promptly report any defects to the logistics coordinator
• Collect and transport waste materials from commercial clients
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, smoking regulations, and environmental requirements
• Communicate any issues to the logistics coordinator
• Follow the assigned route and adhere to the time schedule
• Attend meetings and toolbox training courses as required
• Demonstrate commitment to company values in all aspects of the role
• Act as a positive ambassador for our client, fostering good relationships with customers and third parties
• Fulfill ad hoc duties as requested by management

Requirements

• C licence driving experience
• Previous experience working in the waste industry preferred
• Full compliance with Driver CPC requirements and tachograph usagemake sure to add correct closing tag
• Possession of a full clean driver's licence
• Ability to work within company health and safety requirements
• Certified fit to undertake the position

Compensation

• €17 per hour (Maximum of 10 hours per day)
• €10 meal allowance
• Performance-based bonus pay
