Join VINCI Facilities as a Site Works Manager on a key Defence estate contract in London. This leadership role oversees the delivery of hard facilities management (FM) services within a high-security, technically complex environment. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and maintain exceptional customer service standards-while working on a site that requires the highest level of government security clearance.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary interface for client representatives and site stakeholders, fostering a strong, collaborative relationship.
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team, ensuring efficient delivery of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and responsive works.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, including procurement, scheduling, and quality control of additional small works.
- Implement and maintain robust assurance regimes, carrying out regular site audits to ensure statutory and contractual compliance.
- Drive adherence to HSEQ standards, SFG20, CDM regulations, and all relevant building maintenance best practices.
- Track performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing accurate reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Experience: Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams within facilities management or a similar technically focused environment.
- Security Vetting: Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential due to the sensitive nature of the Defence estate.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SFG20, building maintenance best practices, CDM regulations, and HSE compliance.
- Performance: Demonstrable ability to deliver against KPIs and manage SLAs effectively.
- Leadership/Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Health & Safety: IOSH (or equivalent) required.
- Technical Qualifications: Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential.
