In this role, you will identify training needs, deliver engaging training programmes, and ensure employees have the knowledge and skills required to perform their roles safely and effectively. You will work closely with managers across the business to coordinate training activities, maintain accurate records, monitor compliance, and ensure all mandatory training and certifications remain up to date. Responsibilities- Maintain, update and promote the Nvolve training system.
- Facilitate induction training, including manual handling, food safety and completion of associated paperwork.
- Provide training on SOPs and work instructions, ensuring training remains valid and does not lapse.
- Assist with the design and development of in-house training programmes for SOPs and work instructions.
- Work closely with Production Leaders to identify training needs for existing staff, track progress and highlight any concerns.
- Maintain training compliance by ensuring employee certifications, training requirements and refresher training remain valid and up to date.
- Track training outcomes, prepare reports for management and maintain accurate training records, including attendance, certifications and training matrices.
- Highlight any employees who do not successfully complete required training.
- Enrol new employees on the clocking system.
- Prepare for and participate in factory audits, ensuring training records and materials are audit ready at all times.
- Organise First Aid training, including new and refresher training, and track expiry dates.
- Organise FLT, Shunter, Reach Truck and Stacker training, including tracking and flagging expiry dates.
- Coordinate with external trainers or agencies when required.
- Design, prepare and order training aids and materials.
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
- Plan and schedule training sessions with minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Ensure training materials are up to date and reflect current best practice.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop training materials and use training software.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using a training management system is desirable.
- Train the Trainer qualification is essential.
- Experience of BRC is desirable.
