Summary The governors of Clayton Brook Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, organised, pro active and hardworking Site Supervisor and Cleaner, who takes pride in their work, to join our school team. Working under the direction of the Headteacher you will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties, including premises cleaning, security of the site (including key holder responsibilities), health and safety management and premises maintenance.

This is a highly valued and responsible position and it is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate:

• A strong sense of pride in our school building and grounds;
• Good social and communication skills;
• Ability to work without supervision;
• A practical and sensible approach to routine school maintenance, in observance of health and safety protocols
• It would be desirable for applicants tohave good practical maintenance skills in order to carry out minor repairs and general improvement of the building.

The post is a permanent, part time position of 20hours per week, in the afternoon / evening, term time plus an additional 4 weeks to be agreed with the Headteacher. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
