About the Site Services Manager job

The purpose of your role is to oversee the maintenance and management of all site services, including wastewater, waste, drainage, and external hygiene. This is a key role ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment across the site.

Key tasks

• You will manage and oversee the schedule for general upkeep, the site wastewater plant's cleanliness, and ensuring all preventative measures are taken to maximise functionality and minimise future issues.
• Ensure all site service equipment is running effectively through agreements with contracts and external suppliers, ensuring all maintenance carried out is within your agreed financial budget and provide financial reports to support work carried out.
• Take responsibility for and conduct audits concerning legionella as well as BRC and other mandatory responsibilities, ensuring the site maintains a high safety culture and adheres to all Health & Safety requirements.
• Show strong leadership skills and have open communication with staff, external bodies and contractors.

About You

• The successful candidate shall have experience in a similar facility within Wastewater Plants and will ideally have experience with Membrane Bio Reactor systems. Site Services experience at managerial level will also be desirable.
• An IOSH qualification-or equivalent in Health & Safety or Site Services-would be advantageous.

The site is based in Kent and is commutable from Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Canterbury and surrounding areas.
