We have an exciting opportunity to join our water treatment team as a Site Performance Manager. This role is a demanding but rewarding opportunity at one of our key operational sites - one of our largest water production facilities, providing high-quality drinking water to approximately £3.5 million customers.
What you'll be doing as a Site Performance Manager- To ensure both Thames Water employees and contractors work in a safe and secure environment and go home safely and well at the end of each working day.
- To make sure Water Production sites achieve their planned availability and reliability in terms of quality and quantity at the agreed cost.
- Make sure that the team and individuals deliver exceptional service both to internal and external customers, working towards an improved SIM score.
- To ensure budgetary control in accordance with the Financial Control procedures to meet the business plan (OPEX & CAPEX).
- Make sure individuals in the team understand what is expected of them in order to achieve optimal performance in conjunction with the company's PDR process and timeline.
- Making sure the team feel motivated, valued, and engaged in all aspects of their work.
- Maintain and contribute to a succession plan as part of the wider Water Production team.

Working pattern36 Hours per week (Mon - Fri), plus inclusion onto a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.
What you should bring to the roleTo thrive in this role, the essential criteria you'll need are:
- Full UK Driving License Required
- Demonstrate leadership, empathy, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous process knowledge gained through hands-on development.
- Technical ability and understanding of all process areas.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
- A qualification in the Management of Water Production is highly desirable.
- IOSH or NEBOSH training is highly desirable.
- Salary up to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- Annual leave: 26 days per year, increasing to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays).
- Performance-related pay plan directly linked to both company and individual performance measures and targets.
