Radleys Primary School

Site Manager

G5 (SCP £27,254 to £31,022) 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Required from 1st June 2026 or before, if possible.

Due to the retirement of our much loved Site Manager, we are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, conscientious and self motivated person to join our team. Your role will be key to maintaining our school site, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community and being an integral part of our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
  • Lock and unlock the school and carry out security checks on the building
  • Carry out and record all checks, including maintaining all Health and Safety records
  • Maintain the school property and grounds, including liaising with contractors
  • Monitor site stock and order supplies
  • Experience of DIY and ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently; ideally possess a recognised trade qualification (please specify)
  • Attend any job related training courses, as required
  • Undertake cleaning duties whilst managing the school cleaning team

Previous experience is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.

The hours of working are Monday to Friday (term time): 6.00am - 10.00 am and 2.00pm - 5.30pm and Monday to Friday (holidays) 8.00am - 3.30 pm, Friday 8.00am- 3.00pm (during school holidays). Hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the school.
