Site Manager (No.1) £45,000 - £50,000 + package Permanent Stansted, Essex

Overview

I have a great opportunity for a No.1 Site Manager to join a privately owned family building contractor on a permanent basis, working on projects across the West of Essex (along the M11 corridor).

The company turnover circa £20m and work throughout East Anglia and Outer London, operating as a principal contractor. They undertake new build, refurbishment, alteration, conversion and maintenance projects across the business, including schools, hospitals, residential, factories, offices and listed buildings. Project values range from £500k up to £5m.

They are looking for a Site Manager to focus on projects in the West of Essex, along the M11 corridor. Most of the projects will be new build within the education sector, but they do carry out refurbishment projects as well and also operate in other sectors so ideally the Site Manager will have a diverse background.

Responsibilities

Site management on projects as a No.1 Site Manager for a private family-run contractor, mainly in the West Essex region along the M11 corridor. Focus on education sector projects (new build and refurbishment) with occasional work in other sectors.

Qualifications

• Track record working for a reputable main contractor as a No.1 Site Manager
• Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects
• Education project experience is essential
• Ideally experience on projects in multiple sectors
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• Able to work in West Essex on a daily basis
