Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a new-build social housing scheme comprising a mix of new homes and apartment units.You will manage site operations from commencement through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Contracts Manager, subcontractors, design teams and client representatives, you will lead all site activities while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project life cycle.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing all on-site construction activities
• Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
• Driving programme performance and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards
• Conducting site meetings and reporting on project progress
• Monitoring quality standards and managing snagging processes
• Liaising with clients, consultants and statutory bodies as required
• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering new build residential or social housing projects

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site management processes
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage site programmes and subcontractor performance
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• Valid CSR/CSCS card
• First Aid qualification
• A strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards
• Full UK driving licence
