Are you an experienced Site Manager?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Manager to join a professional and growing construction company. This is a hands-on, site-based role for a reliable and organised leader who can deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard. You will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and maintain clear communication with clients and the wider project team.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Valid SMSTS qualification
  • CSCS Black or White Card
  • First Aid at Work qualification

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Site Management
  • Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor training
  • Experience using construction programme and reporting software
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standard.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site operatives, maintaining productive working relationships.
  • Plan and monitor site resources, materials, deliveries and labour requirements.
  • Carry out regular site inspections, toolbox talks and progress meetings.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, permits, RAMS and quality documentation.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor programme milestones and provide clear updates on progress, risks and required actions.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping, presentation and quality across the site.
  • Manage and motivate the site team, encouraging a positive and professional culture.
  • Support the induction and supervision of new starters, apprentices and visitors.
  • Identify practical solutions to site issues and escalate risks when necessary.
  • Be flexible to support project requirements, including occasional additional hours when required.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support successful project delivery.
Requirements

As Site Manager, you will also be expected to:

  • Complete all required paperwork accurately, efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date site documentation and submit reports in line with company procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, contractors and members of the public.
