The days and hours: This is a 40-hour per week position operating on a rotating shift pattern, which will be agreed upon at the point of appointment. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include morning, daytime and evening hours across the week. There will also be a requirement to participate in a flexible weekend on-call rota to support operational needs.
Salary: £35,000 - £36,372 per annum

- Managing, motivating, supporting and training site supervisors and cleaning operatives to deliver high-quality cleaning services in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Leading by example to ensure the highest cleaning standards are consistently achieved across the site.
- Delivering strategies to improve staff retention, including inductions, training, coaching, performance management and regular feedback.
- Managing recruitment activities, interviewing new starters and supporting onboarding processes in conjunction with the wider business.
- Conducting regular quality audits and site inspections using company systems and apps, ensuring standards are maintained and any issues are resolved promptly.
- Holding regular client meetings and building strong working relationships to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Overseeing site training records and ensuring all team members receive the appropriate training and development opportunities.
- Managing site documentation, audit records and compliance paperwork, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Ensuring cleaning products, materials and equipment are correctly stored, maintained and controlled within agreed budgets.
- Delegating workloads, managing rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
- Monitoring time and attendance through electronic systems and maintaining accurate workforce records.
- Ensuring all colleagues wear the correct PPE, follow site rules and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintaining compliance with quality management systems, health & safety legislation, environmental policies and company procedures.
- Managing client and operational issues, investigating complaints and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Working closely with the Area Manager and wider operational team to drive continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction.
We're hoping to recruit a person who is compassionate toward people: quick on the draw when it comes to hygienic safety in busy environments and have experience in people management. Ideally someone who is based within the area, enjoys a proactive role maintaining a strong and happy relationship with clients and staff.
What skills and attributes we need from you!- Previous experience in a Site Manager, Cleaning Manager or Supervisory role within a cleaning or facilities management environment.
- Ability to work well in a busy working environment and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Good understanding of cleaning processes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- IT literacy and confidence using reporting, audit and workforce management systems.
- A proactive, organised and hands on approach to managing operations and solving problems.
- Commitment to maintaining safe working environments and delivering service excellence.
- A full UK Driving Licence
- A right to work in the UK (please bring your evidence to the interview).
- A Basic DBS check.
