Job Opportunity: Site Manager Location: Meath 
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Site Manager to lead a high performing food manufacturing operation in Co. Meath. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will have full responsibility for site performance across operations, health & safety, quality, supply chain, continuous improvement, people leadership, and financial delivery. The successful candidate will be a visible and influential leader capable of driving operational excellence, building strong teams, and delivering sustainable business growth within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the overall site operation, ensuring strong performance across safety, quality, service, cost, and profitability targets.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and Site Finance.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence through lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and KPI performance management.
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, quality, environmental, and health & safety standards and legislation.
- Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and site capacity to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Manage site budgets, cost controls, capital investment projects, and overall site financial performance.
- Build a high performance culture focused on employee engagement, accountability, succession planning, and talent development.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead continuous improvement programmes focused on efficiency, waste reduction, sustainability, and operational performance.
- Provide clear communication and visible leadership across all levels of the organisation.
- 5+ years' senior leadership experience within food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
- Proven track record managing site wide operations and leading multifunctional teams in a fast paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and manufacturing compliance requirements, including HACCP, GMP, and BRCGS.
- Demonstrated experience delivering operational, financial, and people performance improvements.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost control, and operational KPIs.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or related methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, production planning, and inventory management.
- Resilient and solutions focused with the ability to make effective decisions in a fast paced environment.
- Relevant qualification in Operations, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related discipline desirable.
