Job Description

Vickerstock in Partnership with a Leading Food Manufacturing company are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager (Food Manufacturing).

About the Role

The Site Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall operational performance, safety, people, and commercial outcomes of the manufacturing site. This individual will provide strong, visible leadership across all site functions - including production, health & safety, human resources, quality assurance, supply chain, continuous improvement, and site finance - ensuring the site operates at the highest standards of efficiency, compliance, and profitability. The successful candidate will be an experienced, commercially astute leader with a proven track record in food manufacturing, capable of driving a high-performance culture while maintaining absolute commitment to safety, quality, and people.

Qualifications
  • Relevant third-level qualification in Food Science, Engineering, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification, Green Belt or above (desirable).
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent EHS qualification (desirable).
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of senior site or operations management experience within food manufacturing or a closely related FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multi-functional teams and taking accountability for site-wide performance.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, BRCGS standards, and GMP.
  • Proven capability in talent development, succession planning, and building high-performance teams.
  • Experience managing a site P&L and delivering against financial, operational, and people KPIs.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and employee relations in an Irish context.
  • Proven track record leading continuous improvement programmes with measurable results.
  • Experience with supply chain management, demand planning, and supplier relationship management.
