MTrec Technical is proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client based in the Cheltenham area with plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by replacing a permanent site manager to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the onsite service teams.

The role will be a permanent day shift, 07 00 Monday to Friday.

The Job You'll Do:

• Manage and action all activities required of the onsite services for the client.
• Manage onsite service teams and allocate activities to team members.
• Perform essential work on production machinery in accordance with planned maintenance schedules.
• Perform coolant and wash cleanouts weekly.
• Condition monitor and control fluids and plant equipment, and report using our in house system.
• Manage fluid waste streams for safe off site disposal.
• Maintain customer liaison and assist in operational meetings.
• Follow strictly the practices and procedures laid down, including 5S and Health & Safety.

About You:

• Experience working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Willingness to be adaptable and flexible.
• Self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in a similar position.
• A hands on attitude with adaptability and minimal supervision skills.
• PC literate.
• Excellent communication skills.
