Site Manager - Sutherland House School Braithwell

Sutherland House School Braithwell is an independent special school for autistic children and young people aged 5-19.
We're looking for a dedicated, proactive, and caring Site Manager to join our school community. This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students and staff by ensuring our site is safe, welcoming, and well maintained every single day.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading on all aspects of health and safety across the school site
- Conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Managing contractors and overseeing site maintenance and repairs
- Supporting emergency planning and safeguarding procedures
- Being a friendly, reassuring presence for staff, pupils, and visitors alike
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation
- Experience in site or facilities management (school experience is a bonus, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A hands on, can do attitude and a genuine care for the wellbeing of others
- Someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and nurturing environment
