Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy and driving organizational success? Join GSK as a Site HR Lead to make an impact on talent, leadership, culture, and capability at one of our manufacturing sites.

As a Site HR Lead at our global site in Montrose, you will provide HR leadership across the site, enabling the delivery of our business strategy and enhancing business performance. You will act as a trusted partner to the Site Director, Site Leadership Team, and will join the Primary & Small Molecules (PSM) Manufacturing HR Leadership Team, driving our Thriving People priorities and ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with site leadership to design and execute the site HR priorities, aligning with the overall site business strategy. Coach leaders to deliver key people priorities and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Change Management: Lead diverse and complex change initiatives, such as culture transformation, workforce restructuring, and organizational design, while championing and coaching senior leaders to effectively lead change.
  • Leadership Development: Enhance leaders' capabilities to develop high performing teams by providing constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching. Promote leadership development and learning opportunities.
  • Talent Management: Drive best in class talent management and succession planning to build a diverse and high quality talent pipeline that supports current and future business needs.
  • Organizational Capability: Diagnose future capability gaps and lead workforce planning and capability building initiatives.
  • Data Driven Insights: Utilize analytics and data driven tools to diagnose issues, inform execution of people priorities, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • HR Collaboration: Partner with various HR service delivery channels to support site level initiatives and deliver HR services aligned with the HR Operating Model.
  • Industrial Relations: Lead strategies for industrial relations, ensuring flexibility to meet evolving business needs while maintaining positive relationships with the employee representatives and employees.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate HR risks, protect the company's reputation, and manage employee relations and site specific IR issues with care and respect.
Qualifications & Experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong HR generalist background with significant experience in leading and delivering complex HR agendas.
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best in class HR practices.
  • Skilled in industrial relations, union engagement, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Proven ability to drive culture change and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing sites, business units, or functions within a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in negotiating collective agreements and managing complex employee relations situations.
  • Experience in leading organizational development, change programs, and enhancing organizational capability and culture.

Preferred Experience:

  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry (preferred).
