Priory Hospital Kemple View has an opportunity for a Site General Administrator to join our team.
Located in Blackburn, Lancashire, Priory Hospital Kemple View is a 90-bedded hospital, offering level 2 rehabilitation, and secure services, for adult males. We can support people with a mental health condition and/or a personality disorder.
What you'll be doingYou'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Provides efficient and effective administrative and/or secretarial support to an individual or a department, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
- Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required. Updates central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
- Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.

What you'll bring to the role Essential for the role- GCSE (Grades A-C) or equivalent.
- Excellent keyboard and IT skills, with intermediate proficiency in standard office applications.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Accurate and confident handling of information and documentation.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- At least 1 year's experience in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational or similar role.
- Experience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience working in a busy environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
