DOE: €70K - €80K + Package

Overview

A main contractor with numerous projects across Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on a project in Cluny, County Sligo. The successful candidate will be utilising MMC, modern methods of construction, in a fully onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying using total stations and GPS to mark structural points, levels, drainage, roads, and boundaries.
• Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and ensuring works meet design and specification requirements.
• Monitor quality and health & safety compliance, including review of RAMS and adherence to QA standards.
• Plan and coordinate works through short-term programmes, two-week lookaheads, subcontractor coordination, and material planning.
• Prepare and maintain site records, including daily/weekly reports and material reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, clashes, and design discrepancies to maintain progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or construction-related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying instruments.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem solving abilities.
• Full, clean driver's license.
