Arcon Recruitment, the longest established recruitment agency in the West of Ireland, is currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing construction company based in Co. Mayo.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with a civil or commercial construction background to join a busy team and assist the Contracts Manager across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting the Contracts Manager with day to day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and site personnel
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Setting out and site surveying duties
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
- Liaising with clients, engineers, architects, and suppliers
- Assisting with project documentation and reporting
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Previous experience in a Site Engineer role
- Background in civil engineering or commercial construction projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence preferred
