Job Description
CSA Engineer / Site Engineer - 13272

CSA Engineer/Site Engineer required to work for one of Europe's largest Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland. You will be reporting directly into the sites CSA Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • QAQC inspections of finished works meet standards required, managing quality of the works set against approved benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with the QA managers to ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractors.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors on tracking progress against schedule and carry out sub-contractor meetings.
  • Manage site documentation.
  • Attend Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.
  • Review drawings with design team and effectively solve any issues.
  • Actively monitor and snag contractors works.
  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensure contractors are protecting finished works, prevent damage at all times, raise observations as required.
  • Coordinate works ensuring all trades have adequate time, material and resources to complete their works on program.
  • Manage health and safety, housekeeping material storage, permits etc.
  • Ensure works is carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/ RAMS.

Requirements:

  • BEng in Civil or Structural Engineer or relevant qualification.
  • 4 years+ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • IT Skills - Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
