Site Engineer

Our client, a well-established construction company, is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a residential development project in Kilcock, Co. Kildare.

The Role:

• Setting out works accurately using GPS / Total Station equipment
• Setting out groundwork, foundations, RC frames, floor slabs, blockwork, services and civil works
• Setting out house plots and issuing surveys to solicitors
• Supervising and monitoring groundwork, civil engineering and concrete frame contractors
• Ensuring works are completed in line with approved drawings, specifications & Building Regulations
• Carrying out quality inspections and sign-offs at key construction stages
• Maintaining accurate site records and quality assurance documentation
• Managing drawing registers and ensuring the latest revisions are issued to the site team
• Liaising with the design team and consultants to resolve technical queries and discrepancies
• Working closely with the site team and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
• Residential construction experience desirable
• Strong setting-out experience using GPS / Total Station equipment
• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications and Building Regulations
• Full clean driving licence

Package:
