Site Engineer

South Dublin

€55,000 - €70,000 (DOE)

We are hiring for our client, a well established construction contractor delivering civil and structural projects across the Greater Dublin Area. Due to ongoing project delivery, they are seeking a Site Engineer to join the team on a live €10m project in Liffey Valley, South Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong civil engineering background, looking to work on a well resourced project with a contractor offering stability and long term prospects.

The Role
  • Setting out and site engineering duties across civil works
  • Supporting delivery of site activities in line with drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
  • Assisting with coordination of works to ensure programme targets are met
  • Supporting some structural and portal frame elements as required
  • Ensuring adherence to health & safety standards on site
The Person
  • Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
  • Competent with setting out and site coordination
  • Exposure to structural works beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Eligible to work in Ireland and able to commute to South Dublin
