Site Engineer - Chocolate Factory

With ambitious growth plans and lots happening across the business, we're expanding our team again. That means we're looking for a talented Site Engineer to help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a key position within our Birdham site, where our Factory and Head Office are based. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

You will:

• Play a central role in maintaining manufacturing equipment and site facilities
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs
• Ensure minimal downtime and optimal production performance
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Uphold and promote high safety standards
• Manage maintenance documentation and inventory
• Oversee external service contracts and contractors
• Ensure quality, compliance and operational excellence

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems and making a real impact.

We need someone who is:

• Experienced in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Electrically qualified with strong electrical knowledge
• Holding relevant engineering qualifications
• A collaborative team player
• Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Confident in written and verbal communication
• Reliable, proactive and not afraid of a challenge

You'll also need to be able to travel to our Birdham site (PO20 7BT), as this is a site-based role.

Hours: 40 hours per week (typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm - flexibility required)
