  • Preparing waste for transport by ensuring correct classification, packaging and labelling.
  • Producing compliant transport documentation and supporting regulatory requirements.
  • Working alongside operational teams to ensure waste is segregated and processed correctly.

  • Experience carrying out laboratory analysis, ideally within environmental, water, wastewater or hazardous waste sectors.
  • An understanding of hazardous waste legislation and waste classification processes would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate technical records.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a close-knit team.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with colleagues and customers.
  • A flexible attitude towards workload and occasional overtime when required.
What's On Offer?

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • 25 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Life assurance.
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
  • Employee recognition and referral programmes.
  • Flexible benefits, including retail discounts, cycle-to-work scheme and discounted gym membership.
  • Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing support.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation operating within the environmental services sector, where you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of waste streams, develop your technical expertise and build a long-term career in an industry that plays a vital role in protecting the environment.
