Site Agent

As Site Agent in Devon, you will oversee daily civil engineering project delivery, ensuring works finish safely, on schedule, and within budget for a leading contractor. This full time role offers a salary of £52,000-£57,000 plus car allowance and benefits. You will manage site teams, coordinate resources, and maintain quality standards across long term infrastructure schemes. The position suits an experienced professional with strong leadership and planning skills, seeking stable, temp to permanent opportunities. Working across North Devon, you will report progress and resolve on site challenges, contributing to a secure project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Monitor programme performance and resource requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.

About You

• Previous experience as a Site Agent or an experienced Sub Agent ready to step up.
• A strong background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience within water, highways, utilities or heavy civils would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
