Job Description

We are a fast paced busy unit with two Cardiac Cath Labs and a day ward with 7 beds recovery area. As a band 6 Sister/Charge nurse, you will be supported to advance your skills, and gain expertise in interventional cardiology and the challenge of managing a busy Angiosuite department. The Angiosuite and Cardiac Cath Lab is a specialist area within the Cardiology Department, working closely alongside the cardiology elective services and is collaboratively linked with our cardiology inpatient services. This in turn provides possibilities for rotation and flexible working across the Cath lab, Angio Suite Day Ward and Cardiology inpatient wards Meadvale and CCU, thus enhancing opportunities for skills and competencies development and advancing your management experience and knowledge within Cardiology.

As a department we are currently providing Monday to Friday service from 8am to 6pm. Unit shift patterns exclude night, weekend and bank holiday working, although future changes may occur as service requirements evolve. If you are looking to advance your knowledge, skills and managerial expertise in invasive and interventional cardiology and enjoy coming to work, we invite you to join us at the East Surrey Angio Suite Department.
