Stock Assistant Volunteer

Your local British Red Cross shop offers a variety of activities for volunteers. From sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service, we have something to suit most people's interests.

Responsibilities

• Check the quality of donated items and prepare them for sale or recycling
• Replenish stock on the shop floor
• Iron, clean, label and help price items ready for sale
• Assist with general shop activities

When can I volunteer?

A few hours during the week or on weekends - agreed with the shop manager.

No minimum commitment or fixed hours; we only ask that you agree on hours you can attend and inform us of any changes.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.
• No expectation to use a till or computer.
• A warm smile and a friendly outlook.
