Hours of work:

30 hours or 37.5 hours per week available (to be worked 4 or 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis) Monday to Sunday (this will include Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45-17:15 Monday to Saturday and 09:45-16:15 on Sundays.

About the shop and role:

As a Shop Manager, you will lead the smooth and effective running of one of our Dove House shops, ensuring a professional, welcoming environment that reflects our values of being passionate, positive and professional. You'll work closely with staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service, maximise income and maintain a safe, compliant and well merchandised shop.

Competencies we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who brings retail experience, strong organisational skills and the confidence to support and guide a team.

Are you able to

• Provide outstanding customer service and represent Dove House with professionalism?
• Lead and motivate a team, offering guidance, support and clear direction?
• Manage stock, pricing, merchandising and shop layout to maximise income?
• Work calmly under pressure and use your initiative to problem solve?
• Use EPOS systems and basic IT confidently?
