Are you passionate about people, community, and pre-loved treasures? We're looking for a dynamic and dedicated Shop Manager to lead our vibrant charity shop in our lovely SVP Charity Shop in the heart of Knaresborough.
As Shop Manager, you'll be at the heart of our mission - maximising income to support the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) while creating a welcoming, inclusive space for customers, donors, and volunteers alike.
What you'll be doing:- Leading the day-to-day operations of the shop with creativity and care
- Driving sales through excellent customer service, merchandising, and community engagement
- Recruiting, training, and inspiring a fantastic team of volunteers
- Managing stock, donations, Gift Aid, and online selling opportunities
- Ensuring the shop is a safe, clean, and joyful place to visit and work
- Experience in retail management (charity retail a bonus!)
- A people-person with strong communication and team leadership skills
- Someone who's organised, proactive, and passionate about making a difference
- Comfortable with basic IT and social media, and open to learning more
- A heart for community and a belief in the values of the SVP
