Barts Health NHS Trust is the largest NHS trust in the UK, delivering world-class care across five hospitals in East London. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticSHO Doctor (ST1+ equivalent)to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team atNewham University Hospital.

About the Role

As a Trust Doctor in Emergency Medicine, you will:

• Work across all areas of the Emergency Department, including Adult and Paediatric Clinical Decision Units and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).
• Deliver timely, high-quality care to a diverse and high-acuity patient population.
• Participate in a supportive SHO rota with access to simulation training and departmental teaching.
• Be allocated an educational supervisor and supported in portfolio development and progression to training schemes.

What We're Looking For

• GMC Full Registration
• Minimum 6 months paid NHS experience
• Completion ofFY2 or equivalent
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable Skills

• ALS/ALERT certification
• Experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics, surgery, or orthopaedics
• Participation in clinical audit and quality improvement
