Shipping Manager

SHIPPING MANAGER INTERNATIONAL FASHION & LIFESTYLE BUSINESS

Are you an experienced Shipping Manager who knows international freight inside out and enjoys being close to the detail?

We're recruiting for a growing international fashion and lifestyle business looking for someone to take ownership of its day-to-day shipping operation and team.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing FCL, LCL and Air Freight shipments

• Leading and developing the Shipping team

• Controlling bookings, ETDs/ETAs, customs clearance, ASN, deliveries and GRNs

• Managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and 3PL partners

• Resolving delays, customs issues, shortages, damages and documentation discrepancies

• Reviewing freight costs, quotations and additional charges

• Monitoring shipping KPIs and identifying recurring issues

• Improving shipping processes, controls and reporting

• Working closely with Operations, Finance, Customer Service and other internal teams

What we're looking for:

Strong international shipping / import experience

Excellent knowledge of FCL, LCL and Air Freight

Solid understanding of customs, HS codes, Incoterms and country of origin

Experience dealing with freight forwarders, customs brokers and 3PLs

Previous team management or supervisory experience

ERP experience

Strong practical Excel and data skills
