Job Description

Currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems.

Our site is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus. This state of the art site will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe, marking a new era of innovation and excellence.

Today the prime purpose of the Titchfield site is the design, manufacture and aftermarket support of key fuel system components for the major aircraft manufacturers including Boeing and Airbus. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

What you'll do:
  • Processing Pre Shippers in ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Producing shipment documentation in ERP system/customer portal and associated systems in a timely manner.
  • Booking shipments and liaising with designated couriers / freight forwarders.
  • Ensuring all shipments comply with Eaton policies/procedures and quality system.
  • Registering non UK shipments on a Standard Individual Export License (SIEL) with HM Customs.
  • Raising Dangerous Goods Notes (where trained).
  • Ensuring shipments and shipping documentation comply with export licence requirements - act as final gatekeeper for licence compliance.
  • Confirming shipments in ERP system after dispatch and ensuring they close properly.
  • Identifying shipping pipe queries, populating pipeline risk report (setting action and owner) and providing shipping info to a variety of stakeholders on request.
  • Processing accurate release documentation across a wide range of requirements (CAA, FAA, CAAC, CoC, MOD 640, DAIN).
  • Processing shipments / ASN's on customer defined portals as required.
  • Filing all shipping documentation in line with company requirements.
  • Possesses post secondary education.
  • Problem solving experience with the ability to provide pro active solutions.
Qualifications:
  • GCSE education is required and beyond is preferable.
  • Class9 Dangerous Goods Certification is preferable but not required.
Skills:
  • Experience of export licence procedures.
  • Experience within a Shipping Administrator role in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong experience using and understanding all MS Office products.
  • Class9 Dangerous Goods certification (preferred).
  • Experience of Inward Processing Relief.
  • Flexibility in terms of time - busy month ends will require working late or on weekend days on occasion; overtime will be paid.
