Position Details

• Pay: Up to £80,000 per annum (DOE)
• Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role

The Shift Operations Manager will oversee day to day manufacturing operations during assigned shifts. This position involves managing teams of operators and technicians across several manufacturing areas. The Shift Operations Manager will ensure productivity, quality, safety, and compliance standards are met while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Shift Operations Manager or in a senior manufacturing leadership role
• Significant leadership experience within regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong background in driving productivity, efficiency, and cost control
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop multi skilled teams across shift patterns

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline
• Lean Six Sigma Qualification
