What you'll do on a typical day:

• Lead the shift start with clear direction to team leaders, and ensure an effective handover at shift end
• Oversee department productivity and manage capacity alongside team leads and coordinators
• Coach and support team leaders in building strong, high-performing teams
• Collaborate with HR on absence monitoring, leave requests, and timesheet approvals
• Evaluate team performance and ensure consistent delivery of quality standards
• Analyze KPIs, identify process bottlenecks, and propose/implement improvements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/Kaizen) and drive adoption across teams

What you need to succeed:

• MBO/HBO degree, preferably in logistics or a related field
• Solid experience managing teams in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus, not a must)
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire large teams
• Comfortable with absence management and operational planning
• Open-minded, proactive, and solution-driven with a collaborative mindset
