Job Description

Salary £20.11 per hour, 25% overtime enhancement Monday to Friday and 50% weekends

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Fitter to join our Engineering Team at our Peterborough depot. At Stagecoach East we operate over 290 vehicles, which connect our passengers across the east of England with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at Peterborough is a purpose-built facility and we operate 60 buses from there.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, so they remain available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times.
  • Shift-based role, with shifts any 5 days over 7.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.
  • A PCV licence is preferred but not essential as training will be provided as required.
  • Experience: Engineering: 1 year (required).
