Job Title: SharePoint Consultant
Location: United Kingdom (Remote Working)
Day Rate: £500 - £525 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract
Working Pattern: Initially 4 days per week, with potential to increase to 5 days per week in August depending on delivery pace

Company Introduction

We are seeking a SharePoint Consultant to support the implementation of a SharePoint-based intranet solution. The project will utilise SharePoint Online out-of-the-box functionality without custom development. The successful candidate will work independently and demonstrate the ability to drive delivery with minimal dependency on others.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead the implementation of a SharePoint Online intranet solution
• Configure and deliver a user-friendly intranet using out-of-the-box SharePoint features
• Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into SharePoint design and structure
• Work closely with stakeholders to validate solution alignment with business needs
• Provide expert guidance on SharePoint best practices, governance, and adoption
• Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for sustainability post-delivery

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Demonstrable experience delivering SharePoint Online intranet projects
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, site structures, web parts, and content management
• Expertise in configuring SharePoint using native (out-of-the-box) features - no custom development
• Experience working independently and managing project deliverables with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience in NHS or wider public sector (preferred)
