Overview

We are seeking two experienced SharePoint Architects to support a short-term design-led engagement within a secure environment. These roles operate beneath full Solution/Technical Architect level, focusing on architectural documentation, assurance, and oversight rather than hands-on build or engineering.

The ideal candidates will be highly skilled in producing high-quality technical designs and guiding engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and robust SharePoint solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for SharePoint environments.

  • Provide architectural direction, guidance, and assurance to SharePoint engineering teams throughout build and configuration phases.

  • Ensure that all designs and documentation align with security, compliance, and organisational standards.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.

  • Review, challenge, and assure engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with approved designs.

  • Maintain clear documentation and version control throughout the design life cycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in SharePoint architecture, including creation of HLDs and LLDs.

  • Demonstrable background working alongside SharePoint engineering teams, providing architectural oversight.

  • Exposure to or working knowledge of ShareGate and AvePoint migration/administration tooling.

  • Experience working within secure environments.

  • Active SC Clearance (must be in place at the time of start).

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple parallel design workstreams.

  • Self-starter capable of delivering quality outputs independently.
