A Setting-out Engineer required for a Main Building Contractor to work on our clients project based in Arklow, Co. Wicklow to work on a housing project which is starting in a couple of weeks.

Duties:

• Perform precise setting out of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure accurate measurement and alignment.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify and implement setting out requirements.
• Utilize surveying instruments like total stations, GPS, and laser levels for accurate measurements and layouts, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• 2 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK.
• 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
